Man, you put your heart in this and it certainly deserves a good review

The lyrics have so much meaning, the riffs are crushing, and my bass speaker is pounding. I can seriously feel that fuckin' rumble lol!

How long did you spend on the mixing?

It was worth the extra effort anyways and I'm glad to see you're still submitting to NG! :D

Cheers for messaging me bud, this one's going on a CD in my car when I get insurance sorted!

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Hello my dude. Glad you like it.
I got pretty used to my set up, and minimal tweaking is required. Record and MIXDOWN. haha. Pretty much.

I decided to submit here because with no where else to really submit, I couldn't get metal out to many people. If they choose to zero it, whatever feeds their need. At least they listened.

Anyways dude, thanks for popping by, and leaving some love.\m/

There are some jealous bastards on the portal. That's why anything of this quality gets voted down. :(

Audio Portal is a ghetto man... we gotta get out of the ghetto!

I enjoyed it man, the vocals are especially Viking-like.

The riffs retained that signature Devastus "CRUSH 'EM WITH THE FIST OF AN ANGRY GOD" style as always.

This was awesomely catchy

The riffing style reminds me of Disturbed

Vocals were a masterpiece as usual - you can still rock those vox like you could 4/5 years ago, though your style and techniques have changed.

I even love the little widdly wah solo you stuck in there man

Perfect

You sir, have earned a favorite, 10, 5 and a download.

Very nice and tighly mixed, every instrument is audible and, nothing is lacking.

And holy crap, I've had it on repeat 3 times and thought "Man, this is a long song... what's going o... oh" so it loops perfectly.

The playing is pretty damn good. The riffs are inventive and not too predictable, which is what I like in a song.

Drummer is good too, unless you have used a program of course - These days you really just can't tell sometimes.

I can imagine it'll sound even more awesome with the vox.

Lol

I lol'd at the title.

If I were to write a long winded review, I'd probably be repeating all the points Ryan said just below me.

The riffs are just intense.
Somehow it feels like you have reused a few chord progressions and the choppy riff style from 'Waste'. That is mega insane awesome fucking MINT mate!

Spiritually, this is like a sequel to 'Waste', which is just awesome in itself. I loved that and 'A Cataclysmic Miscalculation'. And there's the Jazzy bit! You always do that! Lol!

Also, I noticed the Periphery influences! :P

More seriously, GET RID OF EZDrummer! GET SUPERIOR DRUMMER 2.0! You will be complete, my friend. Trust me.

Well anyway, I 5'ed you up and downloaded this one.

Love you.

Love you too bro!

Haha thanks for the review as always dude. This song is totally a sequel to Waste.

The jazz part is pretty much our trademark I think, we just find it too hilarious not to do it haha.

An awesome track from the Bad man himself!

Man, it's been a while since I came here to listen to anyone else. I usually wait for people to send me stuff, but I should really start look it up. Pity you can't subscribe to users on Newgrounds :(

Anyway, back to my review:

"Does creation have the right
To eliminate all this waste"

Such Powerful lyrics man, the way you growl just simply compliments it for the maximum effect. I wonder if you meant the same thing when you wrote "Creation" and "Waste"??? Way to blend two opposites to a single meaning!

The singing is pretty well composed at 0:20 - I think it may have been better if it was pure singing rather than having the additional gutterals (like you did at 1:05), but I guess that's personal preference. :P

The riffing is pretty good and original too - Slowly crushing each second you listen. Just pure evil.

What would this be?? Doom metal, with a hint of Killswitch-style singing?

Oh yeah! You didn't tell me you had an album in the works! :(

Everybody's going in that direction now, - I'm gonna have to try and collect 'em all if I can ever scrape enough money together haha.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Xeno. Thanks for checkin the shit. I'm pretty tricky in my lyric writing. If I have a cause to write for, I can usually get it across with varying meanings and interpretations. This particular one, as with most is societal decadence. haha. People suck.

Dude, I'm sure you don't need $$ for my album. You are one of the reasons I've even come this far in music. So for you to collect it on me is consider it a favor returned for all the help you've given me!

Nice, very brutal as usual.

Are you going to expand this one and add some backing cleans/synth???

Or are you going to leave that out and make it completely dark and ambient???

I'm interested in the kind of direction you'll take this in. Sounds like it has a lot of progressive potential.

Also, check out my new uploads if you have the time! :P

Deathcalypse responds:

Thanks man! I haven't really thought about expanding this. I'm working on some cool shit though, stay tuned. And i'll check out your new stuff.

Zomg!

Pretty fucking awesome man...

Love that awesome tone you got there and the cleans are a pretty good addition too.

It's a shame you don't do any soloing, would love to hear that from you - although it's not completely essential in every song.

The thing I like most about this though is the synth. I've never been able to do good sounding synth which flows with the song. It always seems to sound like a bag of shit and I never have any control over it in the same way you do.

Well, hope you check out some of my stuff eventually too - and damn it, you've made me feel like upping some of my newer stuff that I was gonna put on my album! :(

Keep up the awesome work man and get rid of DKFH!
Get Superior Drummer instead! :P
