Song structure kicks ass man, sounds brutal as fuck. It's not like your usual stuff at all. And I mean that in a GOOD way. I think you've found another forte subgenre of metal ;')

It makes me shed a tear!

Want me to do some fucked up death growl vocals for ya, or is this material for Absence of Fear?

Let us know MJ, love you man!

Metaljonus responds:

Thanks for the review mang! AOF is using this track and its going to be fucking heavy!!!

Fucking sick mayunnnnnn

Loving the lead work, especially the harmonies in there man. It's like you took dual guitars a la in flames and gave them a bit of thrashy riffing in there.

Very awesome chilling melodies with an awesome solo xD
Nothing too face melting this time, but still very awesome - which is a surprise coming from you MJ!

Like Ritz said though, it does sound a little muffled at times behind the drums. I think you've probs not left enough room for the guitars to bloom. Common mistake man, not a big problem.

Bigs up any dude, I'll give you a mention on my facebook thingy majiggy!

Metaljonus responds:

Thanks babe!

sounds brilliant

one of my favorite slayer songs as played by my old friend the Demon Slayer himself ;)

You've worked them tones something brilliant dude,

The drums are a little tiny tiny bit off in places, but it's a solid recording and your playing will improve with constant practice.

The mic placement is spot on though. Props to ya!

we should collab properly some time :D

let me know if you wanna do anything

Demon-Slayer12 responds:

Yeah, I was iffy about the drums myself, but I figured it was solid enough haha. it takes hours to get a perfect drum take, plus I did it without a click too ;)
This is one of my earliest drum recordings, the latest ones sound wicked! This is probably one of the few Slayer tunes I'd attempt on drums, maybe South of Heaven... But yeah man, we should do a collab sometime for sure, that would sound fuckin awesome! Thanks bro, I'll be talkin to ya.

Fuck! Well done man, very well done! I was very impressed with this!

You actually did a much better job than I ever could with this because I'm much too lazy to do it myself :(

I should really do the ending for this and get it done once and for all... lol

lebansker0n responds:

Thanks man! I'm glad you like it. I actually almost gave up on this because there was a lick I was playing that was sounding perfect in my headphones as I was playing, but once I played it back it was SOOOOO off that it made me feel like a shitty guitar player lol. I'm glad I stuck with it though cus this song is pretty epic. You should definitely get the outro banged out, too and get this thing nailed since its pretty much almost done anyway haha. Thanks again man I really appreciate you liking this. We should collab more often lol.

Steve Vai is among us on this very portal!

Beautiful man, I love the first solo that kicks in. Simple, yet very elegant and emotional. So very well played. Not completely face melting, but still has that awesome element I loved about your style from the start.

A perfect blend of techniques in there - I love the whammy usage mostly. Not too overpowered, but makes it more exciting. ;)

Love it MJ. \m/

Metaljonus responds:

Thanks Xeno! I responded when I was hammered lol. I've been listening to alot of "The Faceless" and man the melodies he uses in his leads are spooky and yet romantic in a way lol. Thanks again for the listen! We do got to collab again for sure.

haha

"We have MANY more versions such as Rap/Hip-Hop, Raptronic, Ambient, and more coming!" Possibly even a METAL version too!

I love this so far, it's so well produced - Could imagine it being played in actual clubs/bars. Something you could get down to!

Definitely worthy of my 5!

Hehe It's going up up up up :)

Thanks for the review! Again, welcome to 5LR and I'm glad you're signed to us now :)

LOL

I'm gonna add vocals right now

DeathMetalGod responds:

OK, I got your PM about this. Well I wanted vocals at first. Then after I made it, I decided that vocals wouldn't suit it at all. It's really only an instrumental.

rofl

LOL

That's fucking awesome!

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks dude. Tune in. Which means getting up early on Saturday morning to listen. You better.

Man, you put your heart in this and it certainly deserves a good review

The lyrics have so much meaning, the riffs are crushing, and my bass speaker is pounding. I can seriously feel that fuckin' rumble lol!

How long did you spend on the mixing?

It was worth the extra effort anyways and I'm glad to see you're still submitting to NG! :D

Cheers for messaging me bud, this one's going on a CD in my car when I get insurance sorted!

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Hello my dude. Glad you like it.
I got pretty used to my set up, and minimal tweaking is required. Record and MIXDOWN. haha. Pretty much.

I decided to submit here because with no where else to really submit, I couldn't get metal out to many people. If they choose to zero it, whatever feeds their need. At least they listened.

Anyways dude, thanks for popping by, and leaving some love.\m/

I started playing guitar when I was 12 and composing/recording when I was 15. This is where I post demos of my material, so I hope you enjoy.
